"A dinner where the couple first met, under quiet pressure."

Amy and her boyfriend return to the restaurant where they first met. The evening opens as a quiet relationship drama, but a slow, mounting pressure sits under every exchange. Held in a single unbroken take, the film stays with the couple in real time until the warmth curdles into something far darker.

Behind the Film

Amy & I was shot in one continuous take, the camera never cutting away from the couple. It went on to win widely on the festival circuit, including Best Actress for Eline Havenaar and Best Original Music, with 13 wins and 26 nominations in total.
